Supreme Champions – Chakana Blue Chemistry and Merungle BH Triumph

A successful alpaca show was held on Sunday 14 October 2019 at the Sale Showgrounds convened by Jen McDavitt and Jenny Miles. The judge for the day was Angela Preuss who enjoyed a change in scenery and long drive to and from home to the show.

There were 81 halter entries and 30 fleece entries so many prizes received on the day plus a goodie bag for each Champion winner comprising of some Maffra Cheese and a 300ml sample Agspand Feedchar . The Supreme awards were generously donated by Australian Alpaca Wear & Moresby Farm Alpacas.

A big thank you also for the helpers generously giving their time to set up the shed prior Joanne Lincoln, Mike Leggett, John & Jenny Miles and Jen McDavitt. For those on the day we would like to thank Heather & Paul Gardiner who had the fleece entries under control (both Saturday & Sunday ) , Russell & Chris Pendlebury for stewarding in between showing and for assisting with the animal inspections along with Greg Bradshaw and Jack Boer both who offered their services on the day .

Supreme Huacaya was awarded to Merungle BH Triumph exhibited by Jen & Peter McDavitt and Supreme Suri was awarded to Chakana Blue Chemistry exhibited by Julie Blake.
