Clifden Alpacas - Yarragon

We breed stunning black huacaya alpacas and eye-catching Belted Galloway cattle on the slopes of the Strzelecki Ranges in beautiful West Gippsland.  Clifden is also home to Archie the Black Alpaca – the loveable main character in our 2 children’s storybooks Archie’s Haircut & Archie’s Big Win. The stories are wonderful read-aloud tales for young children and ideal also for beginner readers. In addition we stock a range of quality alpaca products, including undyed black Clifden fleece and yarn.

Self-contained farm-stay accommodation for up to 4 guests is available at Clifden Cottage. The fully renovated cottage with its picturesque views makes the perfect spot for rest and relaxation, and the chance to interact with the alpacas.
